System Architect

Purpose of the position:
We are seeking a skilled Lead System Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the organisation's technical infrastructure and systems architecture. This role will lead the technical vision, ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems while aligning technology solutions with business objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide system architecture
- Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure and resources
- Lead and mentor a team of system architects
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation and standards
- Ensure system security, performance, and reliability
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in system architecture, cloud platforms, and container orchestration
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing large-scale systems
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management, deployment, and optimization
- Extensive experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in Cloudflare services, including CDN, DNS management, and security features
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Experience in managing MySQL / MongoDB / etc…
- Experience in managing ElastichSearch cluster
- Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise system for performance
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AliCloud, Kubernetes, Security) is a plus
Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
