Marketing & Events Intern (Part-time, 3 days/week)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Intern to support the SCMP Live team in executing high-impact events across Hong Kong and the region. This internship offers hands-on experience in event coordination, marketing communications, and campaign planning. You’ll work closely with our dynamic team and gain exposure to real-world projects while developing key professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and organising marketing content and promotional materials across digital, social, and print platforms to support SCMP Live events.
• Help maintain partner and customer mailing lists, and assist with targeted outreach efforts.
• Support project execution alongside internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of event milestones.
• Participate in on-site logistics support and preparation, helping ensure events run smoothly.
• Assist with post-event activities such as feedback collection, database maintenance, and reporting.
• Perform administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as directed by the marketing and event leads.

Key Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong command of English is essential; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
• Must be available to work from our office in Hong Kong 2 - 3 full days a week.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Proactive attitude with can-do spirit, able to to work both independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
• Interest in event marketing, content creation, and cross-team collaboration.
