About the Team: 

The Facilities Department at South China Morning Post plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the entire organization by managing a wide range of general administrative duties and taking care of the maintenance and upkeep of the office space, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for employees. 

Purpose of the Position:

Having a receptionist in a company serves as the initial contact for visitors, clients, and employees, creating a welcoming and professional environment to enhance the company's image, efficiency, and customer service.

In this role, you will: 

  • Handle incoming calls, all-round operations of the reception desk and assist with front desk clerical works. 
  • To handle general administrative duties including office supplies, repair and maintenance, payment procurement, and other routine administration functions.
  • Receive and direct incoming documents and courier packages.
  • Manage meeting room and social hub bookings and subsequent coordination works with various departments for room setup.
  • Handle and co-ordinate staff enquiry and request to FM-support.
  • Office decoration during the festival.
  • Handling ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • Form 7 or above
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a sizable company; experience in the media industry will be an advantage
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong PC Skills, well-versed in Google-Suite
  • Pleasant, multi-tasking, good telephone manner, excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 
  • Adaptable, pro-active and willing to learn, can work under pressure to meet tight schedule

Work location will be in Causeway Bay office
