IT Graduate Trainee
About the Program:
We are excited to launch our Product and Technology Graduate Trainee Program, offering a comprehensive 18-month learning journey from July 2024 to December 2025. As a Graduate Trainee in the Product and Technology department, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills across various engineering teams. This program is designed to provide you with a well-rounded foundation in product development, mobile development, integration engineering, quality assurance, and cross-collaboration with our Design and Product Management teams.

In this role, you will:
- Rotate across engineering teams, including product development, mobile development, integration engineering, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with our Design and Product Management teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration and understanding.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining features on the SCMP website and mobile app, delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Maintain our core content management system through microservices design and development, ensuring efficient operations.
- Develop and maintain various business applications that support company operations, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan and execute systems testing, ensuring the reliability and quality of our technology solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, projects, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet stakeholders' needs.
Skills and Experience that will lead to success:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related disciplines is preferable. High Diploma or Associate Degree graduates will also be considered.
- Possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling you to address complex challenges and find innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate a collaborative mindset, effectively working within teams and across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Be dynamic and agile, adapting to changing priorities and embracing new technologies and methodologies.
- Display curiosity and a strong desire to learn, continuously seeking knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Proficient communication in Cantonese and English.
Work location will be at Causeway Bay office.
