Purpose of the Position:
This incumbent will be reporting to SEO Manager and involve implementing effective SEO strategies to drive audience growth and readers acquisition in local and cross-border markets. It includes monitoring and communicating SEO performance, analyzing data for insights and recommendations, staying updated with SEO trends, conducting keyword research and competitor analysis, performing site audits, and designing best practice documents. The role also involves supporting client campaigns and experimenting with new initiatives for optimization and future growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement effective SEO strategy to drive audience growth and customer acquisition with strong focus in local and cross-border markets 
  • Communicate and monitor SEO performance progress with key content and ecommerce stakeholders internally
  • Analyse and recommend key insights and appropriate actions on regular basis 
  • Keep up to date with SEO trends and organize sharing in effective formats 
  • Develop and enhance data analytics and reporting to effectively monitor SEO performance 
  • Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities 
  • Perform site audit, identify and troubleshoot issues impacting the technical performance and operations of all media and ecommerce platforms   
  • Design and update best practice documents for the internal teams 
  • Support SEO client campaigns from proposal to reporting 
  • Perform and experiment new initiatives to optimise performance and drive future growth 

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • Degree holder with major in Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Business, Information Technology or related discipline
  • At least 2 years relevant working experiences
  • Demonstrated interest in the digital marketing, SEO and other new technologies 
  • Strong knowledge about SEO best practices and content marketing strategies
  • Experienced in SEO technical audit and content audit
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush) and analytical platform (Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Basic knowledge of web development technology (HTML, CSS, JS)
  • Skills in Google Ad and Google Merchant Centre will be an advantage
  • Track record of successful audience growth and customer acquisition experiences in media and/or ecommerce industry 
  • Highly attentive to detail, strong analytical, critical & strategic thinking ability as well as strong communication, organisational and presentation skills

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office
