Junior Business Analyst, Advertising & Marketing Solution

About the Team:
Revenue Operations is the engine room of the Advertising team. We are driven by the purpose of delivering excellence across the entire advertising portfolio of SCMP.
 

Purpose of the position:
SCMP is looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support the regular reporting and data analysis functions within the Revenue Operations team.


In this role, you will:

• Conduct and maintain the regular reports to ensure proper recording of financial transactions, provide the insights and recommendations on  optimization.
• Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Perform data cleaning and transformation as necessary to prepare it for analysis.
• Create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders. Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Lookerstudio or Google tools for visualization.
• Provide support for ad-hoc assignments as required.

Skills and Experience that will lead to success: 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.  
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, LookerStudio, SQL, Big Query. 
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce) is a plus. 
• Experience in analyzing data from Google Analytics or similar Google platforms is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and a passion for working with data.
  Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Immediate available is highly preferred

The working location will be at the Hong Kong office.
