Purpose of the position:

Reporting to Chief Editor of Esquire, the Content Director, Fashion will lead the overall fashion direction for both print and digital fashion content while overseeing the full production process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional editorial quality and execution.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the overall fashion direction and supervise daily operations of the fashion editorial team across main book and spin-off publications
• Oversee the editing and curation of all fashion editorial features across print and digital platforms
• Direct and coordinate key visual elements, including styling and cover shoots
• Oversee video production initiatives, guiding multimedia fashion content creation for digital and social media platforms
• Liaise and negotiate with cover celebrities, talent representatives, and industry leaders to secure exclusive editorial features
• Mentor and elevate the editorial, visual, and fashion senses of fashion team members to foster continuous professional growth
• Represent the Esquire brand at key fashion events, collection previews and industry gatherings

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or relevant to fashion
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant editorial experience in fashion and/or media industry
• Outstanding fashion sense, sharp editorial judgment, and exceptional styling expertise
• Strong network of contacts and existing relationships with freelance writers, stylists, photographers, and key fashion industry stakeholders
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills with the ability to manage complex print production workflows efficiently
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience and/or qualifications may also be considered as Associate Content Director, Fashion

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office.
