About the Role: 

As a Marketing Executive for Advertising+ at SCMP, you will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives that drive growth and impact for Hong Kong's most trusted publisher. 

We are looking for a results-driven marketer who is well-versed in B2B brand and product marketing principles and has experience with digital marketing, events and activation. You must be flexible, agile, and transparent to succeed in this role. 

This is a 6-month contract role. 
 

In this role, you will: 

  • Implement marketing campaigns, activation, and events to build SCMP's brand equity and positioning with advertising clients and partners. 
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, vendors, and agencies to deliver high-quality work aligned with business objectives and market trends. 
  • Plan and coordinate critical events such as trade shows, product launches, and client events. 
  • Manage and maintain SCMP's influencer database for marketing content and events and assist with scoring of lead generation databases. 
  • Develop marketing collaterals such as email content, key messaging, and event invites, social and digital content, and coordinating thought-leadership content.
  • Manage SCMP awards programs and events to showcase its work and achievements. 
  • Maintain billing records, track payment schedules, and ensure adherence to billing policies and procedures. 
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary and relevant. 

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B brand and product marketing, events and activation, influencer management, digital and social media, and thought-leadership marketing 
  • Must be digital marketing savvy with knowledge of lead generation, email marketing, and social media - LinkedIn in particular.
  • Understanding the publisher, marketing, media or advertising industry is advantageous. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills are a must. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese is an advantage. 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. 


 

The work location for this role is at the Causeway Bay office.
